Down to vineyards |

As mentioned in previous weeks, Champagne is actually a patchwork of 33,700 hectares of vineyards, north-east of Paris. The region is constituted by five districts – namely Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne, Côte de Sézanne and Côte des Bar. Every single of them is clouded with various kinds climates and soil, thus suitable for harvesting different varieties of grapes. For instance, the chalky Montagne de Reims, sloped with dense forest, could not be more ideal for planting pinot noir. Stay tuned for more insights in each of the districts!
